Important Dental Tips:

1. For brushing your child’s teeth
a) Use a small toothbrush with soft rounded bristles.
b) Use gentle circles to brush the teeth.
c) Cavities can form on the front, back and top of teeth, so clean every surface of every tooth.
d) Supervise your child.

2. Using the right toothbrush
a) Use a toothbrush that is the right size for your child’s mouth with round and soft bristles. You can start using a soft baby-size toothbrush as soon as your child’s first tooth appears.
b) Buy a new toothbrush at least every 3-4 months. Bent or worn bristles will hurt your child’s gums.
c) It is safe for a child to use an electric toothbrush.

3. Using the right amount of toothpaste

WHY DENTAL CHECK-UPS NECESSARY IN MONSOON?

The lovely winter is here… But stop! Do you know? Winters also bring Dental Pain and problems.

Our teeth have an abundance of nerves, and they sense everything as pain only, be it severe temperature changes or pressure changes. These ultra-sensitive nerves are protected by the enamel and the gums; however as we grow older or practice poor dental hygiene, the enamel wears out and the gums also recede exposing the sensitive nerve called “dentin” that can send jolts of pain, or sensitivity, when something cold comes in contact with it.

Check with your dentist today and ensure that you and your family are truly protected this Winters.
